New mandates of the Board of BASPSC after the General Assembly

At the BASPSC General Assembly held on 17 June 2025, Ms Evelina Miltenova was re-elected as Chairperson of the BASPSC Board with a new five-year term.

Evelina Miltenova, CFA, MBA, has been the Chairperson of the Board of the Bulgarian Association for Supplementary Pension Insurance Companies (BASPSC) since 2019. She represents Bulgarian pension insurance companies before Bulgarian institutions and organizations as well as before the PensionsEurope confederation.

With more than 25 years of professional experience in the financial sector and investments, Ms Miltenova has established herself as a respected figure in this field. She has extensive knowledge and experience in banking, asset management and capital markets, with a special focus on financial investments and retirement savings. During her career, she has held senior positions in well-known international banks in Bulgaria, including ING Bank and Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria).

The members of the General Assembly dismissed the current member of the Board, Mr. Anastas Petrov, Executive Director of UBB Pension insurance and elected as a new member of the Board of the Association in his place, for a five-year term, Ms. Maya Rousseva – Executive Director and Head of Legal and Compliance of Pension Insurance Company UBB.

Maya Rousseva started her professional career at the Privatization Agency, where she worked as a senior expert in the Legal Directorate from 1997 to 2002. In 2002, she started working as a legal and compliance officer at ING Pension Insurance. In 2006 he took over the leadership of the Legal and Regulatory Department at ING Life Insurance and since 2007 has been a member of the Board of Directors of ING Pension Insurance. Following the accession of NN Pension Insurance to the KBS Group in Bulgaria in 2021, she was elected to the Board of Management. Since 2025, she has been the CEO of Pension Insurance Company UBB EAD.
She has a Master’s degree in Law from the University of “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She has undergone specialized training at the Adam Smith Institute London. In 2012 she assisted the compliance function at Natinaonale-Nederlanden Spain. She has undergone numerous risk management trainings and a postgraduate qualification course ESG Academy organized by KBS Group in Bulgaria.

At the General Meeting, Mr. Vladimir Nechev, Chief Executive Officer of Pension Insurance Company “DSK-RODINA” and Mr. Georgi Lichev, Chief Executive Officer of Pension Insurance Company “TOPLINA” were re-elected as members of the Board of Directors of BASPSC for new five-year terms.
